Objects are blocked in with colour and tone

Further layers are built up and the cut lemon is added

More detail is added and colours and tones are strengthened

After drawing out in pencil on gessoed board, the first paint layer is added with raw umber ultramarine and white

Detail to jug and further tone and texture added to lemons
